Update App from Previous Production Version¶

Reset Chrome¶

Clear Cache¶

1. Open Chrome browser
2. Go to Chrome Settings -> Privacy and Security
3. Click on Clear Browsing Data
4. Select All time under time range
5. Ensure Cached images and files are checked
6. Click Clear Data
7. Close Chrome

Delete Previous Files¶

1. Go to My Files -> Downloads
2. Delete all previously downloaded installation files (zip / apk)

DO NOT Uninstall Previous App¶

1. Do not uninstall the currently installed application

Download New Application¶

1. Open Chrome
2. Download the latest APK file from this link by going to this link in your Tablet Browser: https://chulha.dronalabs.ca/
3. Go to My_Files -> Downloads folder
4. If the file has a .zip extension; rename file app-release-x.x.x.x.apk.zip to app-release-x.x.x.x.apk
5. Click on the file app-release.apk
6. If the Tablet asks you whether to Install from Unknown Sources, click Yes (or Enable).
7. If you get stuck at this stage, follow section on Installing from Unknown Sources in the Miscelleneous page.

Update Application¶

1. The Tablet will then ask you “Do you want to update this app?”
2. Click Update
3. Once the app is updated, DO NOT open it.
4. Restart the Tablet
5. Open the application
6. Ensure the version at the bottom of the screen is 0.4.2.8 (as of 16^th Jul-2024)
